As many homeowners make plans to re- turn to your winter residences, please remember Ley Property Management offers our house watch service. The service includes: monitoring your thermostat and inspect for water intrusion. During the severe northwest Ohio winter punches, this service enables homeowners to have peace of mind while on extended leave.
Extended leave procedures need to be followed in order to protect you and your neighbor’s investment. Turn off the home water valve-not the building main. Turn the water heater gas supply to pilot. Disconnect water hose from garage water bib and turn off valve inside home. Inspect furnace filter and set temperature to 60 degrees. Lock windows and doors and set garage door opener to lock.
In preparation for winter, please remove all decorative landscape items and planters from your sidewalk area. This precaution is necessary to avoid damage and accidents resulting from the use of snow blowers.
While away from your home, you may call Time Warner Cable (877-772-2253), to receive a lower rate. The discount is available if your service is suspended for a minimum of 2 months and up to a maximum of 5 months. The seasonal disconnect for cable TV is $6.95 plus tax. In addition, Roadrunner internet service may be disconnected at the rate of $7.95 per month.
Please keep Ley Property Management informed of any address, phone and e-mail changes. If not receiving e-mails, please submit your current or up-dated address. Ley Property Management can be reached @ 419.732.0140 or e-mail: ley@cros.net with any questions or concerns.
